How do I make a reservation?

It’s easy! You may reserve securely right here from our website, by calling our office at 773-564-9568 or emailing us at stay@theguesthousehotel.com. 

At check-in, a pre-authorized hold of $250 will be placed on your credit card. (up to $500 over peak periods, holidays and festivals)

Reservation holder must be 21 years or older and present the credit card used for the reservation with matching ID.

What payment methods are accepted?

A major credit card is required for all reservations.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Guests must present matching ID and the credit card used to reserve upon check-in. Due to increased credit card fraud, debit cards are not accepted for same day reservations. Cash is not accepted for reservation payments.

Are there any additional fees?

A 17.4% Chicago Hotel and Occupancy Tax is not included in the nightly rate and will be added to your reservation.

Do you have parking?

Parking is available by reservation only for $35 per night, plus tax. Please let us know when making your reservation if you will need parking. Please note we have very limited space for large SUVs.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

Cancellations are difficult for a small business like ours. But, if you must, you may cancel your reservation in writing up to 48 hours prior to arrival with no penalty*. Please email us at stay@theguesthousehotel.com to notify us of your cancellation.

*Reservations canceled with less than 48 hours notice will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to one night of the reservation, plus tax. Cancellations through third party sites may incur additional fees.

Guests with confirmed reservations giving no notice to cancel (no-show) will be charged the full amount of the reservation.

Refunds will not be offered should guests check out earlier than the confirmed departure date of the reservation.

Reservations made over a Holidays or Black Out date are subject to a  non-refundable deposit.

Guests reserving 5 or more suites over the same period are considered a group and may be subject to a stricter cancellation policy requiring a minimum of 30 days notice to cancel without penalty.

Our standard cancellation policy does not apply to guests with room blocks on contract. Please refer to your Group Reservation Contract for the applicable cancellation terms.

What are the Black Out Dates?

Black Out dates are as follows and may require a non-refundable deposit:

2023: Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, New Year’s

 Can I make changes to my reservation?

If you need to make any changes to your reservation, please call us at 773-564-9568 or email us at stay@theguesthousehotel.com.  Please note that changes to your reservation may affect your nightly rate and subject to a modification fee . Any changes may be subject to our cancellation policies.  

What time may I check-in?

Check-in time begins at 4:00 pm and our front desk team is available around the clock to personally check you in.  If you arrive early, you are welcome to leave your luggage with us and we will be happy to notify you know once your suite is ready. 

Our check out time is 10:00 am.

The reservation holder must be present to check-in to the suite.

Do you offer housekeeping?

To respect your privacy and help conserve our natural resources, housekeeping is available as an optional service during your stay. You can share your housekeeping preferences upon arrival and our Front Desk Team will work with you to honor your requests. We are happy to switch out towels, grab your trash and restock supplies at anytime throughout your stay. Our Front Desk staff is available 24/7, so feel free to reach out any time if you need any extra items!

Do you allow children?

We love kids and children of all ages are more than welcome! We offer several kid-friendly amenities and packages including cribs, high chairs and Pack-n-Plays. For a complete list of our kids products, click here. We ask that you are respectful of your neighbors by not allowing children to run in the units, public areas or make excessive noise.

Can we invite people over or have a party in our suite?

The number of guests can not exceed the sleeping capacity of your suite and in-room parties are strictly prohibited. Quiet hours are observed beginning at 9:00pm so all our guests can enjoy a restful stay.

Do you allow pets?

Well-behaved dogs are welcome!  Please let us know in advance so we’re prepared to welcome your pooch. Guests are responsible for any damage or disruptions caused by their dog. Sorry, cats are not allowed.

Do You Have A Restaurant?

We do not have a restaurant, but our neighborhood is full of amazing dining options within walking distance. Your Suite also has a full sized kitchen with a full sized fridge! If you’re interested in having groceries delivered, we recommend Instacart and we are happy to accept grocery deliveries and place them in your suite for you. Please note we cannot accept deliveries with alcohol.

Is smoking allowed?  

Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited in the building, the units, balconies, patios, and within 20 feet of the building. Violators of this policy will be fined.  No exceptions.
